Tuesday, 11th

Today I'm gonna write about the origin of the names of the day of the week and the months

Ok, let's get start...

In my investigation I read that the origin is the names of many norse gods and the sun and moon:

Sunday: The Romans put this name for the Sun (sun's day')
Monday: Originally 'moon's day' for (obviously) the Moon
Tuesday: The Romans said that is for the war roman god "Marte" in english is for the norse god "Tyr"
Wednesday: Is  a name improved of the norse god "Odin" and the anlo-saxon god "Woden"
Thursay: Is for the name of a famous god "Thor" (Odin's son)
Friday: This name was put to remember the norse goddess "Frigg" (Odin's wife) considered the love's goddess
Saturday: Finally this day, is in memory of  "Saturno"

Now we'll continue with the months:

January: Its name is gave for the romans god "Janos" the starts's god
February: Named afer the roman's festival "Februalia"
March: In honor of the god "Marte"
April: This name isn't 100% definite, because the people think that is for the latin "aperire"
May: Is for the goddess of fertility  "Maia"
June: Its name is uncertain
July: Was assigned for Julio César
August: Was assigned for Augusto César
September: Its name is derived from Latin "septem" (seven)
October: Initially was the eight month
November: This name is because its initially localitation was the nineth
December: The last month of the year receives this name because aforetime was the tenth month

This is all for today! Good evening
